Karsil is a herbal hepatoprotector based on milk thistle fruit extract, intended for the treatment and restoration of liver cells. The drug is effective in toxic lesions, chronic hepatitis (non-viral), cirrhosis and steatosis (fatty liver disease). It is also used for the prevention of hepatic damage.
Main indications for use:
Toxic liver damage: Alcohol intoxication, drug exposure, occupational poisoning.
Chronic diseases: Hepatitis of non-viral etiology, cirrhosis.
Fatty liver disease (steatosis): Alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Prophylaxis: When taking medications or alcohol for a long time to protect the liver.
