Sinaflan ointment 0.025 % tube 15 g

The active ingredient is a synthetic fluorinated glucocorticosteroid for external use – fluocinolone acetonide. The drug has anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, anti-exudative and antipruritic effect. Reduces the manifestation and eliminates the inflammatory response of the skin. Inhibits the accumulation of macrophages, leukocytes in the site of inflammation, inhibits the formation of T- and B-lymphocytes, disrupts their interaction, reduces vascular-tissue permeability, preventing the formation of inflammatory edema. Inhibits phagocytosis, the release of microsomal enzymes and inflammatory mediators.
Dosage and Administration
The drug is intended for topical use only. Apply a small amount of the drug and gently rub 1-2 times a day. Duration of treatment is determined by a doctor individually and depends on the nature of the disease, usually it is 5-10 days, but not longer than 2 weeks. Children from 2 years of age should be used with caution 1 time per day under the supervision of a doctor. The duration of use in children should not exceed 5 days. Do not apply the ointment under an occlusive dressing, only in case of psoriasis it is allowed to apply the drug under a closed dressing, which should be changed every day. It should not be applied to the skin of the face for longer than 1 day. Ointment is preferably recommended for dry forms of dermatoses. Children
The drug is used in children from 2 years of age with caution, under the supervision of a doctor, only once a day, on a small area of the skin. Do not apply the ointment on the skin of the child’s face.
