Plant drug, has a tonic effect, stimulates nonspecific resistance, promotes tissue regeneration, reduces vascular permeability, is involved in carbohydrate and mineral metabolism, anti-inflammatory effect. It has an immunomodulatory effect (both on humoral and cellular immunity) and choleretic effect (due to the presence of organic acids and flavonoids).

Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to the components of rosehip syrup, cholelithiasis.

How to use and dosage: Adults: 1-2 tablespoons of rosehip syrup 2-3 times a day. Children 2-3 years: 1/2 teaspoon. Children 3-6 years: 1 teaspoon. Children 6-12 years old: 1 dessert spoon 2-3 times a day. Syrup for children: 2.5-10 ml of syrup (depending on age) 2-3 times a day with water.

Special Instructions: The maximum single dose of rosehip syrup contains 3 bread units (BU).

Interaction: The ascorbic acid content of the syrup may:

Increase absorption of penicillin drugs, tetracycline and iron.
Weaken the clinical effects of heparin and indirect anticoagulants.
Increase the risk of crystalluria with treatment with salicylates and sulfonamides.
Slow the excretion of acids, including acetylsalicylic acid, by the kidneys.
Accelerate the excretion of alkaline-reactive drugs, including alkaloids.
Reduce the concentration of oral contraceptives in the blood.
