Composition:
Each tablet, p/o contains:
Analgin – 300mg.
Caffeine – 100mg.
Ergotamine tartrate – 1mg.
Auxiliary components: talc, magnesium stearate, starch.
Properties:
Ergotamine tartrate is the most effective substance for migraine pain relief. Its effect is further enhanced by caffeine and analgin, has an analgesic effect that helps relieve bouts of pain.
symptomatic treatment and prevention of migraine attacks and other types of headaches. Histamine cephalgia and occipital neuralgia.
How to use:
to prevent an acute attack, taken 1 to 4 tablets per day. One dose (1 to 2 tablets) is enough to prevent an attack in most cases (or as prescribed by your doctor).
Contraindications:
peripheral vascular disease, ischemic heart disease, impaired renal or hepatic function, and in pregnancy.
Side effects:
increased risk of agranulocytosis and shock. Changes in heart rate, nausea, vomiting, leg weakness, muscle pain in the extremities, numbness and tingling in the fingers and toes, localized swelling, itching.
Drug Interactions:
Taking ergotamine and macrolide antibiotics such as erythromycin leads to ergotism (poisoning of the human body by the alkaloids of the ergot fungus). Ergotamine should not be administered to patients receiving Sumatriptan until 6 hours after discontinuation of the drug.
Dependence can develop subtly if ergotamine tartrate is used more than 2 days per week, even if general recommendations for daily or weekly dosing are followed. Hypersensitivity and white blood cell disorder may occur during treatment with this drug. If during prolonged treatment the patient’s well-being is disturbed, the number of leukocytes should be checked and, if the granulocyte content decreases, the drug should be discontinued. The drug contains analgin, which may cause agranulocytosis. The drug should not be administered to children.
Pregnancy and lactation:
should not be used by pregnant and lactating mothers, as these substances are excreted with breast milk.
Storage:
Store at a temperature not exceeding 30C in a dry place out of reach of children.

Carton pack contains 3 blisters of 10 tablets.
