Indications
\nSpasms of smooth muscle associated with diseases of the biliary tract: cholecystolithiasis, cholangiolithiasis, cholecystitis, pericholecystitis, cholangitis, papillitis.<\/p>\n
Spasms of smooth muscles in diseases of the urinary tract: nephrolithiasis, urethrolithiasis, pyelitis, cystitis, tenesmus of the bladder.<\/p>\n
As an adjunctive treatment:<\/p>\n
in spasms of smooth muscles of the gastrointestinal tract: peptic ulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum, gastritis, cardio- and\/or pylorospasm, enteritis, colitis, spastic colitis with constipation and irritable bowel syndrome, accompanied by flatulence;
\ntension headache;
\nin gynecological diseases: dysmenorrhea.
\nContraindications
\nHypersensitivity to Drotaverine or to any component of the drug.Severe hepatic, renal or heart failure (low cardiac output syndrome).<\/p>\n
Dosage and Administration
\nAdults: the recommended dose is 120-240 mg per day in 2-3 doses.<\/p>\n
Children: the use of Drotaverine in children has not been studied in clinical trials; however, if the use of Drotaverine is necessary:<\/p>\n
for children 6-12 years old the maximum daily dose is 80 mg (divided into 2 doses)
\nfor children over 12 years old the maximum daily dose is 160 mg (divided into 2-4 doses).
\nThere are no data on the use of the drug in children under 6 years old.<\/p>\n
Before using No-shpa\u00ae tablets in a dosing container, remove the protective tape under the lid and the protective label on the bottom of the container.<\/p>\n
Kids. The drug is contraindicated in children under 6 years of age.<\/p>\n
