Blocker of histamine H1-receptors, ethanolamine derivative. It has a strong antihistamine and antipruritic effect with a rapid onset of action and duration of up to 12 h, prevents the development of vasodilation and smooth muscle contraction induced by histamine.
Having anti-allergic action, reduces vascular permeability, capillaries, inhibits exudation and edema formation, reduces itching, has m-choline-blocking effect.
Instruction
Orally, adults and children over 12 years of age are prescribed 1 tablet (1 mg) in the morning and evening. In cases that are difficult to treat, the daily dose may be up to 6 tablets (6 mg).
Children aged 6-12 years are prescribed 1/2-1 tablet before breakfast and at bedtime.
Tablets should be taken before meals, drinking water.
Indications for use
pollinosis (hay fever, including allergic rhinoconjunctivitis);
urticaria of various origins;
itching, pruritic dermatoses;
acute and chronic eczema, contact dermatitis;
drug allergy;
insect bites.
